Measurement, Reporting & Verification

In California, the state offers generous credits for electric vehicles (EVs) to use clean energy.

This means that there is also a high level of certification and verification that the LCFS program participants are required to comply with.  One of these standards  is called Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) reporting.

The Power Ledger platform supports LCFS reporting requirements as well as any other globally-recognized decarbonization or renewable scheme.

TraceX MRV platform features will track charging and discharging of renewable energy from EV chargers, automating the quarterly reporting to CARB.

How does MRV work?

Power Ledger onboards a utility’s eligible generation and meter data from EV chargers. It maintains a current asset list and status, tracks relevant data and provides a live interface that can be accessed by Utility’s authorized employees to view LCFS status in real time.
