Position Overview

As part of the Product & Operations team, this position will work closely with business development, analysts and developers to execute the role and will be required to support others in the execution of their role as business priorities require it.  

This role will also work closely with the Business Development team and support them to promote the Power Ledger software offering and will be relied upon to communicate the current product features and feature roadmap to BD and other key internal stakeholders.

The Product Specialist will report to the Principal Analyst.

Skills & Attributes, Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

Skills & Attributes:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication coupled with stakeholder management skills
  2. Modelling skills related to the energy market and the ability to assess the feasibility of projects in different operating environments
  3. Ability to produce detailed reports, proposals and presentations
  4. Familiarity working with SQL, software development and advanced excel skills (desirable)
  5. Understanding of agile methodologies and experience in a startup environment (preferred)

Qualifications: 

  1. Tertiary qualification in a related field (Commerce/Business, IT or Engineering)

Experience and Knowledge:

  1. 2 - 3 years of experience within the energy sector in a related role
  2. An understanding of the energy industry and regulatory processes
